Korte beschrijving/Annotatie

Sciencefictionthriller over amateurastronoom Vrida, die met haar 11-inch telescoop een onbekend object waarneemt dat niet in catalogi voorkomt. Nadat haar observatie eerst wordt weggewuifd, worden de gegevens via Agaath doorgestuurd naar een Cyborg-team in Groenland en vervolgens gecontroleerd door CALTECH’s Mount Palomar Observatory. Daar wordt bevestigd dat het om twee grote onbekende asteroïden gaat die richting de aarde bewegen. De centrale spanning draait om de dreiging van een mogelijke inslag, de herkomst van deze objecten en de vraag of ingrijpen nog mogelijk is.

Through her brother’s sister, Agaath, she manages to submit the observations to the Cyborg team in Greenland. They make contact with CALTECH’s Mount Palomar Observatory and share with them the astrofoto’s taken by Vrida.
CALTECH confirms the presence of TWO large and Unknown asteroids.
These asteroids are heading towards Earth. DO they pose a threat to our Existence, and where do they originally come from ? Can they be stopped ?
The Cyborgs must take Action. Will they save us from destruction ?
